Hi!! Thanks for coming over and looking at my website. I'm Kathryn Santa, mom to a beautiful son, and mom to 4 little rescue doggie's. I have been in love with photography since I was 16 years old. I am, by profession, a Pediatric Physical Therapist and a photographer at the same time. I think being a physical therapist and working with children with special needs has taught me so much about being patient and bringing out the joy in children. I have been a PT for more than 20 years and specializing in pediatrics for the last 18 years. I have worked with the newborn through 3 year old population for a long time and my comfort level with handling these little ones comes with years of experience.  I practice very safe handling techniques of your newborn, and have many years of training in positioning and handling newborns. My physical therapy skills and my passion for photography is a match made in heaven.  I truly love the innocence of kids, capturing them being themselves, having fun and just engaging in the moment. I love the process of newborn photography, creating the perfect picture to have forever.
I have been fortunate to mentor with the worlds best newborn photographers. Including studying with the amazing Nicole Smith Photography and Dewdrops
Photography by Amy McDaniel.
I have a private home photography studio that is dedicated to the comfort of my clients, having a new baby and getting out of the house is a task, but I make sure you can kick your feet up if you like, watch some cable and have a snack and maybe even take a nap!!
